The concept of park hierarchy relates to categorizing parks based on their size, function, and significance, ranging from regional parks to small “pocket” parks. The proposed location for the small park in the “Kodra e Trimave” neighborhood falls under this category, offering small spaces for relaxation, recreation, and social interaction, with features such as pathways, seating areas, playgrounds, and art installations. The cadastral parcel 804-9, with an area of 1553 m², is owned by the Municipality of Prishtina and is located at the heart of the residential area, bordered by buildings on three sides and by the SHFMU “Zenel Ajdini” school to the south. Due to the dense development around it, the space has remained inaccessible and is often used as an informal waste dump, losing its public function. The new project aims to transform this neglected area into a green, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing community park, planned within the boundaries of the municipal property, and reintegrating it into the urban life of the surrounding residents.
