Agim Ramadani - Underpass

The project for the construction of the 'Agim Ramadani' underpass aims to improve the urban infrastructure and traffic circulation in one of the busiest areas of Prishtina, in the city center. The underpass will stretch along Agim Ramadani street, starting from the Municipality of Prishtina building and ending at the Theater building, with a length of 300 meters and a 5-meter descent. The project will include three traffic lanes: one dedicated to buses and two for other vehicles. Due to protected areas, buses will circulate above the square with a speed limit of 10 km/h, while other vehicles will use Ilaz Agushi street and Bajram Kelmendi street to reach the one-way circular road on Agim Ramadani street. The main objective of this project is to regulate and improve traffic circulation, considering the high traffic load in this part of the city. At the same time, the project aims to create a safe and suitable environment for pedestrians, offering safe and easy crossings. The construction of the underpass will also contribute to the expansion of the square towards Sahat Kulla and its connection with the well-known 'triangle' square, allowing the city to create more pleasant and flexible spaces for pedestrians and public activities.
